I’m starting to think they’ve forgotten about my tree.
When I talked to the head honcho of the roofing crew on Monday, he indicated that Slumlord wanted him to cut the tree down. I knew all along it would have to come down. It really is too close to the house. That’s why I even went so far as to ask him about it.
He said he was going to bring his chainsaw on Tuesday and take care of it. Well, Tuesday came and went and I thought he must have forgotten his saw because he didn’t cut down the tree. I was just happy to have one more day to enjoy my little furry friends.
When the crew started on the roof Thursday and the tree was still standing, I started to think that maybe if it wasn’t in their way, they would forget that they were supposed to cut it down.
Well, my roof is all done and they’ve moved on to the house next door. No one has paid any attention to my tree.
